![]() ![]() The Uniflow isn't even in the same league though when it comes to smooth. Have you ever tried a Harrells? Sure, I can throw just as accurate on my Uniflow most of the time. This is the point I was trying to make - if buying new, especially for a new reloader where there are plenty of forgotten costs/tools to get yet, would you spend the extra $ to buy a new Harrels or Redding BR PM? 308 - would you recommend he spends $200+ on a new Harrells or Redding BR, or picks up a decent powder measure at a gun show or a new Unflow or Hornady and calls it good? Yes, but you have 'one of everything' (or more ) - certainly, I'd pick one up at a gun show at a deal 'just to have' (likewise numerous beam scales), but assuming the OP is purchasing new, loading for an AR pattern. ![]() I think I have 3 left, the others went to new reloaders I got started. I have had 6 Redding PM's all from the funshow which I paid $30 for. Smoothness and ease of micrometer use are why. They will all work well, I just prefer the Redding. I have used Uniflo, Hornady, and a Redding powder measures. ![]()
